My name is Kate, and I'm a writer at heart, although I haven't really honed my skills over the years. This blog is a collection of my writing and thoughts, interspersed with updates about my life as a wife and homemaker to Wilson and follower of Jesus Christ.
I am also a self-declared homebody with an old soul, a baker striving to revamp her beloved muffin recipes to reduce refined carbs and sugar, a closet interior/home design devotee, and an avid reader of everything from theology blogs to classic murder mysteries (think Agatha Christie and company). My favourite things include cold weather (especially if there's snow involved!), homemade cinnamon buns, British crime dramas (historical and otherwise), iced lattes, sleeping in, singing worship music, and playing board games with friends.
